LIVE Cabaret

In case you missed out on the fun, here's a play-by-play of each of the acts at last night's Cabaret. In haiku form.

SPELLS
An angel lit by
Candles and electronics...
My thoughts turn gloomy.

ROCKO
Two painted foxes
Make soap opera weddings
Into space fuckfests.

FORTNER ANDERSON
Cute little bird morphs
Into abject viscera.
Just another day.

JIN HAN
Dolly's in the head.
Let it out til your voice breaks
and sing with the world.

BOBBY
A story on stage
of secret prairie fires and
Lights inside her dress

PATRICK CRUZ
Big jigga bass beats.
Loops draw you to the dance floor.
Hymns of holy meows.

HIM LO
Black hood akin to
Clothes on clothes and skin on skin
You feel what he feels

MELVIN AND GORILLA
Man and monkey twirl
While a piano tinkles
And true love is made.

VASAN SITTHIKET
It is my fault if
I'm born to love weird blues riffs
Speaking plain wisdoms.

GLORIA
Drunk dame with hot perm.
She can join me any time
For happy hour.

CHUCKLES THE CLOWN
Despite the mullet
Timmy cried through his birthday.
Might have been the blood.

PAYDAY MILLIONAIRE
Knitted garden gnomes
Dance to a rockin' two piece.
It all ends too soon.
